The project involved the full design and construction of a new four lane highway connecting the existing Pacific Highway between Currumbin Valley and the Tweed Interchange at Coolangatta. The works involved the construction of 5.6km of dual carriageway highway, a tunnel under the Gold Coast Airport runway, four bridges, and new interchanges at the southern and northern tie-in to the existing highway. BCP supplied all precast concrete culverts, parapets and custom designed noise walls on the project.
