Leighton Contractors have awarded BCP Precast the exclusive contract to supply precast road barriers for the M2 upgrade project.
Major construction started in January 2011
Major work on the motorway started in January 2011. New traffic conditions, including reduced speed limits, will be in place on the motorway for the next two years during construction. Signage and barriers on the motorway and feeder routes will direct motorists around the work sites and notify motorists of changed traffic conditions.
The M2 Upgrade will widen the existing motorway generally between Windsor Road, Baulkham Hills and Lane Cove Road, North Ryde and will deliver four new ramps to improve access to the motorway. These works are anticipated to take approximately two years to complete.
